 | Prof. Jinfeng LiuUniversity of Alberta, CanadaDr. Jinfeng Liu is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and both his MSc and BSc from Zhejiang University. Dr. Liu's research interests lie in process systems and control engineering, optimal control and machine learning, with a current focus on developing innovative modeling, estimation and control methods to tackle pressing challenges in closed-loop smart agricultural irrigation for water sustainability. Dr. Liu has published 4 books, over 250 journal and conference papers, and edited several special issues. He currently serves as editor-in-chief for the IChemE journal Digital Chemical Engineering, and as an associate editor for IFAC Journal of Process Control, Control Engineering Practice, and Mathematics. |
